Course Description

The i4Geo Geospatial Science & Technology Series is a dynamic, hands-on workshop series designed to provide participants with advanced skills and practical knowledge across a broad spectrum of geospatial analyses and applications. All modules can be taken in a ‘watch and learn’ style, however some also offer the option to bring your own laptop and follow along with exercises, provided necessary software and files are preloaded.

The Geo-Ethics and Meta-Analysis workshop is part of the i4Geo Geospatial Science & Technology Series, designed to bridge technical skills with ethical considerations in geospatial research and data analysis. This engaging, interactive workshop offers participants the opportunity to explore the ethical implications of geospatial technologies and the critical importance of rigorous metadata reporting and data transparency. With a focus on meta-analysis, participants will learn best practices for synthesizing data from diverse sources, interpreting results, and leveraging online data repositories for impactful research.
