Course Description

The i4Geo Geospatial Science & Technology Series is a dynamic, hands-on workshop series designed to provide participants with advanced skills and practical knowledge across a broad spectrum of geospatial analyses and applications. All modules can be taken in a ‘watch and learn’ style, however some also offer the option to bring your own laptop and follow along with exercises, provided necessary software and files are preloaded.

The Indigenous Community Engagement workshop is part of the i4Geo Geospatial Science & Technology Series, designed to foster a deeper understanding of Indigenous perspectives and practices in geography, land management, and geospatial technologies. This workshop focuses on the intersection of Indigenous knowledge systems, geographic approaches, and modern mapping technologies to address environmental, cultural, and sovereignty-related challenges.
